Dreamy Vacation
In the stillness of night, my mind takes flight,
Desire whispers soft, an escapist’s delight.
Running from love, my heart feels the chase,
A candle’s warm glow, vanilla’s embrace.
Cinnamon swirls in the winter's cool air,
Snowflakes, like memories, delicate and rare.
Past traumas linger, shadows that cling,
Honeyed tears fall—each drop, a sting.
I seek a day where change will unfold,
An end to the fears, the stories untold.
The warmth of the candle, a comforting light,
Guides me through darkness—a beacon so bright.
Love’s elusive dance, I struggle to see,
Acceptance feels foreign; it’s hard to be free.
But in this vacation, I dream of release,
To find in my soul a semblance of peace.
